CNRG expands into Arkansas

H&M Lumber joins Home Hardware Center.

在线精品国产在线视频Central Network Retail Group, the multi-format and multi-brand retailer, expanded its footprint to 109 stores in 15 states with the acquisition of single-unit West Helena, Ark.-based H&M Lumber.

在线精品国产在线视频H&M will be converted to CNRG’s Home Hardware Center. Walter Morris, former owner of H&M, will continue with the brand.

在线精品国产在线视频With the acquisition, Home Hardware Center, headquartered in Natchez, Miss., operates 24  stores in five states. The West Helena store, founded in 1961, currently offers a full assortment of building materials, hardware, plumbing, electrical, and paint as well as a drive-through lumber yard.

“I am comfortable knowing this business will continue to successfully support the community for many more years,” Morris said.

“H&M has built a great business with an outstanding team,” said Raymond White, CNRG senior vice president of operations. “We are proud to have the opportunity to welcome this location and all of the team members in West Helena to Home Hardware.”

CRNG President John Sieggreen described Home Hardware Center as the group’s oldest brand and one of its top-performing divisions. “Home Hardware Center will benefit from partnering with a first-class operation like H&M,” Sieggreen said.
